JoeDad to replace Mike Hartel on the Board

Mike Hartel, a founder and leader within our local fraternity has decided to step down from the alumni board of directors. His involvement was enormous as he was instrumental in the resurgence of our local organization. He acted as mentor to chapter members and as a great leader within our organization. Thanks for your dedication to DU, Mike.

At the last board of directors’ meeting, the board voted to allow the president to appoint a replacement. Directors are normally voted in by the board, but in the case of a member stepping down during his term, the president has the authority to replace him. Mike’s replacement will be Joe Duffel. Joe has been our social chair for the past year and has put on great events such as the First Annual Tim McGee Wiffle Ball tournament and the Founders Day celebration last November. Welcome aboard, Joe.
